I'm a writer, cat enthusiast, and student affairs professional-in-training.
In 2016, I graduated with my bachelor's in Human Development and Family Science from UGA. (Go Dawgs!) There, I worked as a Resident Assistant for two years, and I found my passion for narrative nonfiction while writing for and editing UGA's PreMed Magazine.
Nowadays, you can find me at the University of West Georgia, where I'm studying in the counseling and student affairs master's program. Professionally, I work in the Office of Financial Aid as their graduate assistant in financial literacy, where I create programs, manage social media, and collaborate with campus and community partners to help our students reach their personal and financial goals.
My side hustle, as the kids say, is as an academic and nonfiction copyeditor. Need an experienced pair of eyes on your work? Let's chat!
When I'm not working or studying, I spend my time knitting, rewatching Parks and Rec, and making goofy faces at my cat, Samantha.
What's on my docket?
