The First-Year Experience Auxiliary created a program that invited counselors and mental health professionals to speak to residents as well as creating paracord bracelets so the residents could wear them and remember that they have resources and people who care about them when they need them.

Residents relaxed during a hectic week by polishing their nails while representatives from WORC UGA and BeCompassion asked them about how gender roles and beauty ideals affect their lives.

During the first week of the fall school year, residents got to meet each other in a friendly atmosphere.

A fellow RA and I provided ice cream, sherbert, and various sodas so residents could create their own ice cream float or sherbert punch.  We had a blast and lots of residents had a great time!

Anthony Chiu, a double major in Dietetics and Consumer Foods, held interactive booths to teach residents about nutrition and eating off the meal plan.

Delicious activities included trying to tell the difference between ranch dressing and a yogurt-based alternative and measuring proper pasta portions by hand.
